This decision has been made by the announcement by President Dr. Malik Abrar, ensuring that schools and institutions will remain closed from April 10th to April 14th to observe Eid-ul-Fitr.

He further stated that following Eid-ul-Fitr, Monday, April 15, 2024, will mark the commencement of regular activities for private educational institutions. According to the announcement, workplaces will observe public holidays from April 10 to April 12, 2024, for those with a five-day workweek. For individuals working six days a week, the holidays will extend from April 10 to April 13, 2024.

As per a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, offices will have different holiday schedules depending on their working days. Offices following a five-day workweek will remain closed from Wednesday, April 10 to Friday, April 12 for the holidays. For workplaces with a six-day workweek, the holidays will extend from Wednesday, April 10 to Saturday, April 13.
