According to the latest notification, all government and private schools in Punjab will be closed for seven days due to the heatwave from Saturday, May 25th, to Friday, May 31st, 2024. It should be noted that summer vacations had already been scheduled to start on June 1, 2024. As a result, summer vacations will now effectively begin on May 25th for schools in Punjab. The earlier notification specified that educational institutions would remain closed for summer vacation from June 1, 2024, to August 14, 2024.
